Morning Devotion Monday May 27.

Absalom Day 6.
Psalm 77 (NIV)

Insomnia, anxiety, distress
Crying out, crying
Groaning, musing, spirit growing faint
Speechless, sleepless
Questioning
“Has his unfailing love vanished forever?
Has his promise failed for all time?
Has God forgotten to be merciful?”

No.

“To this I will appeal: the years of the right hand of the Most High”
Jesus is at your right hand.
“I will remember the deeds of the LORD”
Jesus is at your right hand
“Yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago.
I will meditate on all your words
And remember your mighty deeds.
Your ways, O God are holy.
What god is so great as our God?”
Jesus is your right hand.
“You are the God who performs miracles;
You display your power among the peoples”
Much greater things have we seen than
The parting of waters, thunder and whirlwind,
Arrows of lightning and trembling of earth:
Jesus is your right hand
You deliver the needy, rescue prisoners,
Bring good news to the poor.
You heal the sick and raise the dead.
You are unfailing in your mercies.
I will proclaim your mercies to the great congregation,
and declare your glories to the skies,
my hope and my strength,
my rest and my peace.

“You led your people like a flock
By the hand of Moses and Aaron."
You hold me by your right hand.
